REPORT ON CLUB DINNER

ANNUAL DINNER 2019
This year’s club Dinner was well attended by 30 club members and their guests. Thankfully, this year no-one fell ill before the event or forget the date or found any other reason to not turn up!! Those that were able to attend enjoyed an excellent meal as always at the Westfield Court Hotel. It was good to see most of the regular faces who usually attend this club event, including ex-player, Malcolm Smith. Others such as Jim Clarkson was, unfortunately, not able to make it through illness. All told there were 4 Life Members present. Jeevan, our new Chairman, made his maiden speech at the event. He reviewed the season, thanked team captains and club Officials and outlined some of his plans for the Club. Finally, he proposed the traditional toast to the club. He outlined his choices for the season’s awards. Unfortunately, only Ricky was able to be present to collect his award for Player of the Year.
