To all Club members, from the Club Chairman
Hi All,
I am sure that you are aware of the current situation worldwide regarding coronavirus. The NHS has been providing us with advice and guidance on what to do regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), should there be any signs or symptoms.
To help support those messages, there are some key steps that you can take to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the government have released some guidance for individuals working specifically in Educational Settings though this can be relevant to all settings too:
COVID-19: guidance for educational settings

There is also the attached poster which provides you with some simple measures to help stop the spread of any potential viruses.
What to do if you feel unwell...
As with our normal absence procedure, you must notify your Captain at the earliest and on the first day of your absence if you are feeling unwell and unable to attend games.
You should then follow the advice of the government by phoning the NHS 111 phone number and update your Captain when possible.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Coronavirus please contact your Captain who will be able to provide you with some support via the Club Chairman.
Club Decision:
As Chairman, I have made the decision to cancel all Badgers games for the remainder of the season. This decision is in response to the concern surrounding the welfare of our young people and volunteers.
At present, all 1stXI games will be played and continue as planned until further notice from the MRHA league and or decision from the Chairman. The Chairman has spoken to the Small Heath Wellbeing Centre and the Active Wellbeing Society who are not planning any closures or stopping customer gatherings. In light of this, the Chairman will monitor this on a day by day basis in consultation with our home pitch venue.
Any further announcements regarding other engagements and events will be shared via the club website so please ensure you check this regularly.
Best wishes,
Jeevan
Club Chairman
