YARDLEY HOCKEY CLUB
TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS and FRIENDS OF THE CLUB
CLUB UPDATE – 20th March
I am sure that you are already aware of some of these updates, but this is just to ensure that you are aware of the current situation regarding Yardley Hockey Club, as from 20th March.
Badgers – all games and training cancelled for the foreseeable future.
1st Team league – the remaining games have been called off by MRHA. A decision over final league outcomes is still awaited. Tuesday training also cancelled for the time being.
EASTER TOUR – CANCELLED. WILL TRY AGAIN IN 2021
Planned CLUB DAY – Scheduled for 4th April. Cancelled.
CLUB DINNER – 17th April – Although my last communication stated that we had hoped to continue with the event, after consultation with the hotel and taking everything into account, it has been decided to postpone the event. Who knows when we will be able to re-arrange the event -hopefully for September if the general situation has improved enough to allow the event to be re-arranged.
Final Management Meeting for 20th April
Club AGM – on 18th May
These two events are still on for now, but the outlook for holding them does not seem very hopeful at present. Further details about these, a little nearer the time.
The Club Chairman and Management hope that all members, their friends and families will keep themselves safe and follow the recommended guidelines in their quest to do so.
We club will endeavour to maintain the upkeep of its website and social media set ups to pass on any new updates.
