Badgers Vs Atherstone Vipers

A 2-0 defeat but Yardley again put in a good team display – the hosts had the younger squad but utilized their four senior youths throughout, hardly passing to their younger girl team members. Yardley had a broad spectrum of ages and abilities but they all passed to each other and trusted each other, to play as a team .

With ten minutes left the home team keeper clattered into our youngest player, knocking him to the ground. This upset all the visitors'  team. In support of a fellow team mate  they walked off the pitch. Eventually order was restored, everything calmed down and the last few minutes were played.
