Youth Teams (u10,u12,u14) Vs Blossomfield u12s

This was our first competitive match of the season and the team, virtually the under 10s of last year was ready for the contest.

Ella and Abdulla were at the back, Sean, Daud and new boy Fabian  up front and captain Ayesha, Barakah and Thearna held the midfield.

We managed to squeeze in four 15 minute sessions in the time, the first two in an Autumn mist and the last one in sunshine.

Doud scored two in the first session and one in the third giving him the acolade of a hat trick.  Ayesha and Sean brought our total to five but by the fourth game Blossomfield had netted six, three of which came in the second session when Yardley had taken the foot off the pedal after Doud’s two early goals.

Ayesha our newly elected captain organised the team well giving her usual  total commitment guided by Tricia from the sideline keeping the team motivated on their toes. The most improved player was Ella and special mention to Fabian who has blended in well with the team and growing in confidence.

Considering that Blossomfield had a squad of 13 to rotate compared with our 8 the team did remarkably well only losing by the odd goal.  Player of the match was Doud for his hat trick.
